We Buy Vintage!

The majority of our inventory comes from people like you, inviting us to a home or bringing us old clothing or cameras in to our shop. Sorting, washing, and hauling large amounts of old clothing isn’t necessary for you to do- leave it to us; we’re happy to put in the work and happy to commute. We buy most of our inventory locally, or we may sometimes hop in a car and drive across the country for a huge flea market, you never know. We really get our stock from all over, anywhere we can find it. The good stuff is hard to find, and you may be surprised what we consider the good stuff! When we receive a call from someone with boxes, closets or chests full of clothing, we’re thrilled! Call us before donating or throwing away, we offer cash or check on the spot and we’d like to help keep textiles out of landfills, too. Whether it’s an estate, or you just have a box of old clothing you’re ready to give a new home to after years of storing, we’re interested in taking a look.

What We Buy

We buy a wide range of vintage items dating anywhere from the 1800’s-1990’s. Our focus is on natural fiber (cotton, silk, wool, rayon, linen, etc) and every day wearability. We don’t buy a lot of polyester, nor do we typically buy formal wear. We particularly like workwear, western wear and Americana. Take a look at our list below to get an idea of the things we would be interested in. Condition is not necessarily important! If you have the urge to throw ripped up things away- don’t do it! People like the pieces with lots of character, plus we repair holes, replace buttons and zippers, and use old fabric for projects, etc. We buy all sizes- XXS-XXL (Men’s, Women’s, and children’s)

(We like to stay between 1930s and 1970’s generally, but will buy earlier and later pieces up to the 1990’s)

• Vintage Cameras- We typically stick to 35mm SLR’s (1950s-1990s) and point and shoot cameras (1980s/90s) We buy certain instant film cameras, TLR’s, and toy cameras.

• We also buy primitives, leather wallets and purses, art, furniture, lamps, rugs, and quilts.
